2011 was our first year with LandLord max and we loved it. Now it's time to bring everything to the Accountant and when I looked in the reports list, there are so many choices I'm not sure what I should be printing for the accountant. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, we are a small user with only eleven units and one commercial building. Thanks for your help! Donald Littlefield |

Hi, The reports you need specifically depend on your situation, for example if you're a corporation or everything is under your personal taxes. And even then what type of reports you need to generate can depend on a number of factors and what you're trying to claim. Generally the most common ones are "All accounting entries", "Accounting entries grouped by building" (or for a building). Another very common and useful one is "Accounting entries grouped by categories" which helps your accountant group together different types of amounts. There's several variations of that report as some people need it for just one building. It's possible also depending on your structure, or if your a property management company, that you also want to run it for each entity (corporation, client, etc.), so you can use the "for a landlord" variations of the report. Generally what we recommend you do is ask your accountant what they need, and based on that you should be able to find the appropriate reports. You can also send them this link which lists all the reports and most accountants will be more than happy to tell you specifically which reports they want and need: http://www.landlordmax.com/support/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=34 Regards, Stephan Grenier Founder LandlordMax Software Inc. http://www.LandlordMax.com http://www.FollowSteph.com http://www.RealEstatePigeon.com |
